For children with developmental delay or disability and complex social, emotional and behavioural needs, educators will often access the expertise of other professionals to ensure successful inclusion. This module explores how improved outcomes for children with developmental delay, disability or additional and complex needs can be achieved when early years professionals deliberately and strategically work in partnership with one another.
In this module examines:
- the importance of inclusion
- NDIS and Early Childhood Intervention
- tools for fostering collaboration, and
- transition from the ECEC setting to school
Suitable for early childhood education and care workers at all stages of their careers. This module will take an estimated one hour to complete.

Completing Professional partnerships for early childhood inclusion will contribute 1 hour of NESA Registered PD addressing 3.5.2 and 7.2.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW. Courses completed after 20/2/2018 will be validated.
