Early Childhood Australia (ECA) has been a voice for young children since 1938. We are the peak early childhood advocacy organisation, acting in the interests of young children, their families and those in the early childhood field. We advocate for quality outcomes in early childhood education and care, and we provide resources to help educators achieve this goal.
Established in 2016, the ECA Learning Hub is well regarded for producing high-quality online professional learning. We engage topic experts from the early childhood sector to translate research and identify best practice to develop professional learning that ‘speaks the language of educators and teachers’ and can be used across the diversity of settings educators may be working in.
The ECA Learning Hub is designed to help educators gain a thorough and practical understanding of standards, frameworks and research about quality practice, including the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS). It is also designed to be accessible, affordable and contemporary to ensure quality professional learning is available, no matter where and when it is needed. A library of over 60 modules and webinars across a breadth of topics ranging from OH&S, to pedagogy and programming, to leadership are available on the hub.
Purchase options are available that can suit a variety of needs: annual subscriptions offer access to all ECA-produced content within the online library, or modules and webinars can be purchased individually or through professional learning packages. Users can also access Learning Hub content through our Learning Management System (LMS), or through their own LMS platform.
