Free Learning Hub Webinar – correction
In the last Learning Hub bulletin, we promoted an upcoming free webinar as being held on Tuesday the 11th of August. This was incorrect, and we would like to note that the webinar will be held on Thursday 11th of August 2016 at 4pm.

New module: Supporting Children’s self-regulation: from birth to three years
Good self-regulation leads to better self-awareness and a better understanding of the social world. To be released Wednesday 20th of July, ‘Supporting Children’s self-regulation: from birth to three years’ focuses on the learning done between the birth and three years period, and examines how to help very young children learn to start managing their emotions and behaviour.
Presenters Andrea Nolan (Deakin University) and Karen Bonson (Gowrie Victoria) explore how for children under the age of three, the ability to self-regulate is a key aspect of learning about themselves and the world around them.
Learning Hub Subscriptions are now cheaper for smaller services. We’ve recently developed a new price for services that employ between two and ten educators, making a subscription even better value. It’s just one of the many subscription options we offer. Click here to view our subscription prices.
If you have Long Day Care Professional Development Programme funding, you can use it to purchase a subscription to the ECA Learning Hub. By using the administrator functions of your subscription account, you can track which modules your staff have completed, to help acquit your funds.
Free resources
The Learning Hub also offers a range of free resources, available through our website. One of our most popular free resources, ‘Babies and Toddlers: Amazing Learners’ is a three-part video series developed with the VCAA about the significant learning that occurs during the birth-to-three-years period. Click here to view a number of other free resources.
These resources include specialised resources developed by ECA, resources developed with partner organisations, and recommended resources developed by third parties.
