Everyday routines and transitions play a significant role in the lives of children and the adults who work with and care for them. This course will encourage you to reflect on the routines and transitions you currently have in your setting and explain how they can be enhanced and attuned to build better relationships with children and families.

This course is suitable for early childhood education and care professionals at all stages of their careers.

• Explore why routines and transitions are a significant part of each day
• Discover why routines and transitions are valuable building blocks for establishing and supporting relationships
• Understand why and how routines and transitions can be times of the day that support play and engagement.
