This webinar was a live event in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic and is now available, for a limited time only.

COVID-19 and the subsequent restrictions have created unique challenges for educators in early learning services and school contexts. This masterclass introduces you to Australia’s foremost researchers in transitions, and gives you an opportunity to explore research and practice as we consider transitions into school during this time.

This session will assist educators as they plan for transitions for children starting school during the COVID pandemic, and into the future. The session will also assist parents who may be concerned about transitions at this time.

Participants will gain an understanding of:

  • The impact of COVID-19 on transition to school: Perspectives from families.
  • Perspectives from childcare, preschool, out of school hours care, and school.
