Biography
Carla McFadden is a physiotherapist with a background in paediatrics and elite sport through her work with young athletes at the NSW Institute of Sport. Recognising the increasing lack of fundamental movement skills in her patients, including high-level athletes, Carla and her husband, a world champion ice hockey player and coach, set about creating supportive programs, activities and environments for young children to develop vital movement skills in early childhood and school settings across NSW. After many years of delivering their programs in a variety of settings, Carla’s passion for child development and collaborative approach to supporting development is matched only by her belief that the benefits and knowledge physiotherapy in child development can provide should be easily accessible to all.
