Dr Ruth Nicholls

Dr Ruth Nicholls is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist and a member of Speech Pathology Australia. Ruth has a special interest in child language development, particularly children who are learning to communicate in more than one language during the early years.

ECA Learning Hub

The ECA Learning Hub team is based in Early Childhood Australia's National Office which is located in Canberra, Australia. Our small team develops professional development resources for educators and other professionals working with young children from birth to eight.

Karen Bonson

Karen has been an Early Childhood Teacher at Gowrie Victoria, Docklands, since 2010. She has a Master of Teaching degree from Deakin University.

Prof. Andrea Nolan

Andrea is Professor of Early Childhood Education at Deakin University. She has had extensive experience teaching in early childhood settings as well as in primary schools, TAFE and the university sector.

Dr Kate Williams

Dr Kate Williams is a lecturer and researcher in the School of Early Childhood at the Queensland University of Technology and is also a Registered Music Therapist.

Jenni Connor

Jenni Connor undertakes research and writing into learning, curriculum and educational issues generally. She was author of the 2011 e-Newsletters and responsible for coordinating the 2012 and 2013 series.

Catharine Hydon

Catharine Hydon is the Director and Principal Consultant at Hydon Consulting. She has a master’s degree in early childhood education and extensive experience in the sector.

Anne Stonehouse AM

Anne Stonehouse AM has been a consultant and writer and developer of videos and other resources on a variety of topics in early childhood education and care.
