Description

This course will provide individuals with an understanding of how to fulfil their duty of care to help maintain the health and safety of the workplace. This course is suitable for individuals working in education and care settings in Australia. However, each individual in the workplace has a different level of responsibility in relation to work health and safety and an organisation will have specific policies outlining responsibilities.

After completing this course, you will:

  • work health and safety (WHS) responsibilities, which are otherwise referred to as duty of care responsibilities, at each level of the workplace
  • your work health and safety responsibility as an individual
  • best practice strategies for education and care services in relation to work health and safety.
